Essential requirements - Work and holiday visa for Australia
➤ Age: between 18 and 30 years old
➤ Nationality: hold a passport from an eligible country (e.g. Argentina, Spain, Chile or Uruguay) valid for at least six months
➤ Education: you must have completed at least two years of university study, post-secondary vocational education, or hold a university degree
➤ English language proficiency: you must demonstrate a functional level of English through an official certified exam. For IELTS, an overall band score of 4.5 is required (approximately B1 level).
➤ Financial resources: you will need approximately AUD 5,000 (around €3,000) to cover your initial stay and living expenses.
➤ Previous participation: you must not have previously taken part in the programme.

- How long can I stay in Australia on a Work and Holiday visa?
You can stay for 12 months, with the possibility of extending for a second or third year if you complete specified work in regional areas.
- What types of work can I do?
While your visa is valid, you may work in any type of job. However, you can only work for the same employer for a maximum of six months.
- Can I study with a Work and Holiday visa?
Studying is not required, but you may study for up to four months.

- Can I enter and leave the country during the validity of my visa?
